Did You Know. 3.0

This video showed me a lot of things I never knew. For example I never knew India had more Honor Students than America has kids, or that over 100 babies a minute are born in some places. The whole idea of over 100 babies being born in a minute in  a lot of countries shows how rapidly the world is expanding. Sure many people die along with the births but growing populations show more are born than those who pass away. This means to me my country, my world is expanding rapidly in many ways including population.
The next fact is that we now have 540,000 words in the English language. 5x more than Shakespeare had!  This means to me that communication has advanced rapidly due to technology. In Shakespeares time there was not really a way for new words to come about due to communication. Words couldnt be passed around like they are on the internet now. For example without internet Google woldnt even be a website, let alone a word. This just goes to show how technology is helping the world expand to be bigger, and smarter.
