Homework 10-21-10

The lost boys came from the African Country of Sudan. They were forces to run away from their home due to civil war. If they were to stay they would have been killed. The boys were all from 5-10+ in age and had to travel over 1000 miles on their own.
The first place the lost boys settled was in Ethiopia. Here they lived in a refuge camp for a few years. Then once again the government toppled in Ethiopia just like in Sudan. Ethiopia could not care for the lost boys anymore so they had to send them off to somewhere else. Once again the lost boys were stuck wandering through the desert.
Finally the lost boys arrived in Kenya to end their journey. Here they settled in yet another refugee camp. Life in the camps wasn't too good compared to how we live but was still better than wandering through the desert. Food supplies always seemed to be low and they didn't have much of a future. They still had more food than than in the desert and they got an education. Finally they got safety from all the dangers that hurt them all throughout their life.
